Fatal: loan details given to an unverified caller who was not the customer
The caller said he was the brother in his opening sentence, and the officer discussed the file anyway: sanctioned amount, rate, the ITR-averaging that cut it from 5 lakh to 3.2 lakh, two cheque returns from the bank statement, and the credit score. She then offered the brother a co-applicant route and took his salary. Her instinct finally engaged at the very end — she refused to send the application link to an unregistered number, correctly and firmly. By then everything worth protecting had already been said. The analysis on this call was good; every word of it went to the wrong person.
“Application AD-PL-77214 · Rs 5,00,000 requested · sanctioned Rs 3,20,000 at 14.75% · reason for reduced amount (income assessment on ITR) · bank statements and rejection reasoning all disclosed to a caller who was never authenticated”
